Jane (née McDermott), who for the past 20 years has lived in Aberfeldy, was eight when she started at the European School of Brussels (ESB) at Uccle, an hour’s drive from her new home in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, a suburb of Brussels.

Not many people can say they went to school with a future prime minister, but a Perthshire woman has revealed she spent some of her schooldays in a class with Boris Johnson.
