Alumni Community Housekeeping Rules

Welcome to our alumni community! Our organization thrives on the generosity, respect, and goodwill of its members. We are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all alumni—whether in person at events, in chat groups, or in any other interactions. To ensure everyone feels valued and respected, we ask all members to adhere to the following housekeeping rules. Disruptive behaviour, harassment, or trolling will not be tolerated—anyone who engages in such behaviour may be removed from events and community spaces.

Community Rules

  • Respect and Kindness: Treat all members with respect, kindness, and professionalism. Disagreements should be handled constructively and courteously.
  • No Trolling, Harassment or Disruptive Behaviour: Trolling, bullying, harassment, or any form of intentionally disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, offensive comments, personal attacks, or deliberately provoking others.
  • Inclusive Language: Use inclusive and appropriate language. Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or derogatory remarks based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
  • Stay On Topic: Keep discussions and interactions relevant to the purpose of the group or event. Off-topic or spammy content may be removed.
  • Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information about fellow alumni without their explicit consent.
  • No Solicitation: Avoid using the community for personal promotion, advertising, or solicitation unless explicitly permitted for a specific event or purpose.
  • Respect moderators and volunteers
Event hosts and group moderators are donating their time. Please follow their guidance and any instructions given to maintain a positive environment.
  • Follow Event Guidelines: Adhere to any additional rules or guidelines provided for specific events or chat groups.
  • Report Issues: If you witness or experience behavior that violates these rules, please report it to the organizers or moderators immediately.
  • One warning policy
In most cases, inappropriate behaviour will result in a single warning. However, severe misconduct (harassment, trolling, hate speech, or any threatening behaviour) may lead to immediate removal without further discussion.

Consequences of Violations We reserve the right to remove individuals from events, chat groups, or the community entirely if they engage in behavior that violates these rules and interrupts the enjoyment and good spirit of others. Our goal is to maintain a welcoming and positive environment for all alumni.

Thank you for helping us create a vibrant and respectful community! If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to to admin@alumnieuropae.org.
